FOOD: 4 Favorite Foodstagrams
Balancing: Eating 5,000 calories and looking at 5,000 calories
Things to get lost in for hours: Target, sleeping on the beach and Food Instagrams.
When my boyfriends attention is on basketball, video games or a game in his phone (eye roll) I often find myself scrolling through pages of food that makes me rethink every single thing I’ve ever eaten. Check out my 4 favorites, they’ll have you craving the calories instantly.
1. Feed Your Girlfriend:
First and most obvious, the title. Everyone knows the jokes about girlfriends never knowing where to eat. If you’re in the New York area, this FG (food gram) will give you amazing ideas on where to eat. They specialize in posting desserts like drool worthy cake and ice cream, but whenever they have a good meal they throw a pic our way. Nothing irritates me more than when an FG posts a pic that makes me instantly hungry, and there is no location tag, big thanks to Feed Your Girlfriend for always tagging the local.
2. Devour Power:
This NYC based food & travel couple loves to post amazing food that I have to admit I have scrolled through for hours. This is the definition of a power couple, they host a Food Network show called Munch Rush, blog & vlog, own a Media brand that specializes in food driven content AND apparently have an app. Besides the fact that they’re killing it, they show a lot of taco’s. So any site that regularly features pictures of unreal taco’s… It’s a total yes from me.

Their bio explains everything, “The definitive authority on what you should be eating.” Look at these pics and you’ll say duh. This FG is international, which is wonderful for me, and always tags location. They also have Infatuation IG’ s for states @Infatuation_nyc @infatuartion_la etc.
The cool part of this one is that other bloggers submit their photos, so it’s actually the best of the best. Be careful, because one FG leads to another FG and you’ll find yourself two hours later hungry and still scrolling.
4. NYC Food Coma:
Honestly, saved the best for last because this girl is a serious role model. Established in 2013 this NYC girl knows how to eat. She eats, she takes the pics herself and then she blogs and posts on IG. The other day she posted a posted a picture of a brisket sandwich that literally made me re-evaluate life and all I know about BBQ.
Girlfriend’s blog features restaurant reviews, her fave collections and guides that you’ll need when visiting or even living in the city. She just posted a Guide to the Booziest Brunches, and as soon as I get home I’m hitting them all. To be honest, I some jealousy and a tiny girl crush. Her job is perfection, she dresses cute and the material she has on her blog and IG is either delicious or adorable.
